Muse Labs

Terraforming the creative landscape. Our R&D initiatives push the boundaries of what AI can do for storytellers.

Where Ideas Become Tools

Muse Labs is where we explore the edges of creative AI — testing new approaches, validating research, and building prototypes that eventually become the features our partners rely on. Some of these projects are in active development. Others are early experiments. All of them represent our commitment to advancing the craft of AI-assisted storytelling.

Active
StoryGraph
A visual narrative mapping tool that plots story arcs, character journeys, and thematic threads across complex multi-season or multi-film narratives. StoryGraph helps writers and showrunners see the shape of their story at a glance — identifying structural gaps, pacing issues, and narrative opportunities that are invisible in linear script format.

CharacterNet
An AI-driven character relationship engine that maps the dynamics between every character in a story — tracking alliances, conflicts, emotional arcs, and dialogue patterns. CharacterNet can generate relationship graphs, flag inconsistencies in character behavior, and even suggest dialogue that stays true to established voice and motivation.

Muse API
A developer-facing API that exposes Muse's core creative intelligence capabilities — script analysis, world building, and visual generation — for integration into third-party tools and custom workflows. Currently in private beta with select development partners.

Experimental
ToneSync
Audio-visual mood analysis that aligns musical scoring suggestions with narrative tone. ToneSync analyzes scene content, pacing, and emotional trajectory to recommend score characteristics — tempo, key, instrumentation — that reinforce the storytelling intent.

SceneCraft
An experimental tool for generating detailed scene descriptions from minimal prompts. Given a logline, genre, and tone, SceneCraft produces vivid scene-setting text that writers can use as a starting point — handling atmosphere, setting details, and sensory language while leaving character and plot decisions to the human writer.

Community Hackathons
We host quarterly hackathons that bring together developers, storytellers, and AI researchers to build creative tools and explore new applications of Muse's technology. Past events have produced prototypes for interactive fiction engines, real-time collaborative writing tools, and AI-powered casting assistance.
